About Us
The purpose of the Western Carolina Athletic Association (WCAA), also known as the Asheville Trailblazers, is to provide a structured environment for home school students in Western North Carolina and surrounding areas to participate in competitive athletics. The WCAA program is designed to be a competitive high school sports program for our homeschool athletes; this is not a church league or rec league. Similar to any public high school program, all athletes must try out and no one is guaranteed playing time. However, every student will be shown the love of Christ and will be mentored to excel both physically and spiritually.
Our Mission
To offer competitive sports programs for home school boys and girls in middle and high school and to do so in a manner that maintains a focus on and honors Christ.
Our Vision
To help athletes maximize their potential athletically, mentally, and spiritually. To teach competitiveness, sportsmanship, determination, and to help prepare them for greatness.
